In Saigon I co-founded a small ad agency specializing in social media and branded events. Here are a few posts we did for Fuzzy Logic Brewing Co., still the best (and cheapest!) craft beer in Vietnam.
These are screens from a few of the UX projects I’ve done for SoundCloud and N26.
The first screen to the left is SoundCloud’s Creator Dashboard, which artists use to control all aspects of their musical catalogue on the site. Besides track listings and analytics, in late 2022 our team also expanded functionality to include a full suite of distribution tools.
The second job featured here was to write copy for the N26 banking app’s Actions tabs, wherein users decide what to do with their money and account options.
The last screen is from Spaces, N26’s customized savings accounts. My responsibility was to describe the options with an aim towards raising users’ awareness and understanding.
I was thinking about making a joke here pretending I’ve confused “banking” for “baking,” but have restrained myself because it seemed like I could make it funny, but not “hire me” funny.
In July of 2019, I was hired to be the online spokesperson for Aconno, an IoT hardware and software manufacturing firm based in Germany. I also write their scripts, but I had nothing to do with the way my hair looked after I put on that Darth Vader helmet. I am, however, absolutely that good at foosball (kicker, for you Germans), and you should never, ever test me.
Before I began taking on more UX work, I wrote blogs for Honestly.com with titles like, “Analyze This: A Primer on People Analytics,” and “How Your Small Business Can Offer Big Benefits.” There are too many to count (fine, not literally, but there are a lot), but I have plenty of samples available upon request. So please: request.
Here’s a press release I wrote for Lightstreams’ cryptocurrency listing:
If you buy any and the value skyrockets, you legally owe me 20%. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.
